Cursor Hackathon Bucharest

Romania hosted its first official Cursor Hackathon at How to Web HQ, where builders formed teams (or went solo) and shipped projects in a fast-paced, demo-driven format.

Participants hacked on topics spanning health, wealth, knowledge, and NGO wildcard — with Cursor credits provided so everyone could build without worrying about costs.

The evening wrapped with team demos and winner announcements, featuring $1,000 in Cursor credits and $1,500 in cash prizes from Convex for projects built with their backend.
